Midsemester Review
So far this year in Get Fit I've made a few new friends and had many memorable experiences. I love the atmosphere and every body's amazing energy. I always look forward to seeing everybody in Get Fit each day and I consider our class to be just like a team. We work together so well and I'm very much looking forward to the second half of an amazing semester with you all. As far as a letter grade for my work and effort in Get Fit I think I deserve an "A". I participate in all activities (when I'm well and healthy) and I love bonding with everybody in my class individually. In my opinion I bring a very positive attitude to class and it influences everybody around me. I love encouraging people around me to try their hardest and push themselves to their own absolute maximum exertion. I see myself to be somewhat of a leader in ou class. As far as a percent for myself in Get Fit I think I deserve 90%. My effort is almost always at its best and I try my best to be positive and make the most out of each day! Sometimes I need to work on focasing on the activity at hand and not get distracted so easily. Overall this is an amazing class that I alway love coming to and I can't wait for our upcoming field trips!! WHOO HOO!!!
Fencing!!
Fencing in get fit was so much fun! i think i speak for everyone when i say "WE HAD A BLAST!!!" i really enjoyed the last day when we were fencing against eachother and it really brought out my competitive nature. i enjoyed it so much that i might continue on fencing with the delta fencing club as an extra curcular activity. i love how each of our field trip/activities brings us together more as a class and it almost feels like a family!! i cant wait for our next field trip and im positive it'll be amazing.

GET FIT: Fitnes and Other Fun
Hey everybody! I've been having so much fun already this year with y'all!! We motivate each other so well and I always feel those intense, "ready-to-go" vibes from everybody on fitness days. My favorite fitness activites so far this year have been triple threat and the pyramid workout! They're so much fun and do upbeat! I loved our first field trip to panorama dance with everybody and I think we all we're awesome dancers! I can't wait for our next trip, TAEKWONDO!!! HAE-YA!!! Super stoked guys! I think it's gonna be great!

GET FIT: First Post!
This year when i first learned about the get fit class and how it works around a community like environment i was absolutely thrilled! i couldn't wait to sign myself up! one the things i dislike about a normal physical education class is when i know that theres people watching. i used to feel like i had to do everything perfect or that i had to be "cool" but this class really changes the meaning of cool. in p.e cool was doing what everybody else was doing. it was chilling and watching others work hard while we sat and watched because sweating was "uncool". in this class i am motivated to do my best because i don't have to worry about anyone else watching, we're all in the same boat. we're all here to try our hardest and beat our OWN personal best. i love how everybody is working and theres no "uncool" people! everybody is cool! everybody is working their hardest! everyone is sweating just as much as the next person!! i don't need to be self conscious! i am super excited to get to know everybody in get fit and im ready to work my hardest! i cant wait to do activities outside of our school neighbourhood!! this is going to be a great year for the get fit class!! :)

MY COMMUNITY ACTIVITY:
Lately I've been engaging in local activities in and around my community.
Starting with the grouse grind last weekend i made it to the top in 67 minutes!! for the first climb of the season i think i did pretty well!! i was quite sore for a couple days afterward but it was totally worth it!! looking forward to my next climb!!
Also I've been focusing a lot on my physical and mental health! i have something called loose connective tissue in my joints and i need to take good care of my body so that it stays in good shape for the rest of my life. i have been making sure that i wear appropriate gym strip and supporting running shoes to every class! I LOVE MY UNDER ARMOUR SHOES!!!
On june 23rd i will be doing a 5 kilometre run to support a group call bcvoh (british columbia victims of homicide) and bc helplines (a toll free number that anyone can call for educated, understanding support and an open ear). these two associations are in support of people who have had a homicide in the family or of a friend. i am running to raise support for theses people and for their awareness. because we hear so many stories in the paper and in the news of what happened but we never really hear about how it effected the people whom love and care for the lost loved one.

As far as a letter grade for this entire year i think i deserve an "A". i participate as much as possible in all activities and try to get EVERYONE involved! i try my best to make gym class fun and a respectful place to want to come bad to throughout the year. i must admit though, that I've been somewhat slacking with my blog as it is not my favourite way to assess physical education. i always have fun in P.E and i always look forward to coming to class! i am super excited for next years p.e, as i am taking the all girls class instead of the regular gym class. hopefully there, i will find people i can get along with and people that will encourage me to challenge myself everyday! i am looking forward to meeting and mingling with people that have as high of determination and focus in the class as i do! i was very disappointed a few times this year with peoples lack of effort in p.e when i tried SOOO HARD to make things fun and equal. stepping up as a leader is hard! it has challenged me but also taught me so much about people in general and that different people have different motives. i will keep trying my best to always get involved and step up as a goal setter, a role model, and a friend in p.e. thank you so much for all that you've done and taught me this year, neuf!!!! i appreciate all that you do for your classes and i respect how much work you put in everyday!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
(P.S. if you need a percentage too, i think i would give myself 95% because theres always those "off-days" when everything feels wrong and I've let my class down)
