MY COMMUNITY ACTIVITY:
Lately I've been engaging in local activities in and around my community.
Starting with the grouse grind last weekend i made it to the top in 67 minutes!! for the first climb of the season i think i did pretty well!! i was quite sore for a couple days afterward but it was totally worth it!! looking forward to my next climb!!
Also I've been focusing a lot on my physical and mental health! i have something called loose connective tissue in my joints and i need to take good care of my body so that it stays in good shape for the rest of my life. i have been making sure that i wear appropriate gym strip and supporting running shoes to every class! I LOVE MY UNDER ARMOUR SHOES!!!
On june 23rd i will be doing a 5 kilometre run to support a group call bcvoh (british columbia victims of homicide) and bc helplines (a toll free number that anyone can call for educated, understanding support and an open ear). these two associations are in support of people who have had a homicide in the family or of a friend. i am running to raise support for theses people and for their awareness. because we hear so many stories in the paper and in the news of what happened but we never really hear about how it effected the people whom love and care for the lost loved one.

As far as a letter grade for this entire year i think i deserve an "A". i participate as much as possible in all activities and try to get EVERYONE involved! i try my best to make gym class fun and a respectful place to want to come bad to throughout the year. i must admit though, that I've been somewhat slacking with my blog as it is not my favourite way to assess physical education. i always have fun in P.E and i always look forward to coming to class! i am super excited for next years p.e, as i am taking the all girls class instead of the regular gym class. hopefully there, i will find people i can get along with and people that will encourage me to challenge myself everyday! i am looking forward to meeting and mingling with people that have as high of determination and focus in the class as i do! i was very disappointed a few times this year with peoples lack of effort in p.e when i tried SOOO HARD to make things fun and equal. stepping up as a leader is hard! it has challenged me but also taught me so much about people in general and that different people have different motives. i will keep trying my best to always get involved and step up as a goal setter, a role model, and a friend in p.e. thank you so much for all that you've done and taught me this year, neuf!!!! i appreciate all that you do for your classes and i respect how much work you put in everyday!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
(P.S. if you need a percentage too, i think i would give myself 95% because theres always those "off-days" when everything feels wrong and I've let my class down)
